Poor low-temperature performance is an inherent limitation of nitrile rubber.While higher acrylonitrile content improves oil resistance,it also worsens cold-weather performance.In winter conditions in northern regions,standard nitrile rubber sheets may become brittle and rigid,losing elasticity.On the high-temperature end,although NBR can be used continuously at up to 120°C,performance drops sharply above 150°C,increasing the risk of thermal-oxidative aging.Ignoring temperature limits will cause the material to fail.
