The places such as distribution room, distribution substation and distribution room will use insulated rubber mat. What are the requirements for laying insulated rubber mat in distribution room?
One.Requirements for laying insulated rubber mat in distribution room
The ground where electrical equipment is located on the platform, cabinet bottom, bus ducts, etc.in the distribution room should be covered with insulated rubber mat.The specifications should meet the protection grade requirements and comply with the following requirements:
1.The insulated rubber mat should meet the requirements of GB 15579.1-2005,”General Specifications for Electrical Safety Insulating Materials”,with a protection grade of not less than IP00.
2.The thickness of the insulated rubber mat should be determined by the rated voltage of the electrical equipment. When the rated voltage is 1kV or less, the thickness should be 3mm;when the rated voltage is 1kV or more, the thickness should be 5mm.
3.The color of the insulated rubber mat should be red or yellow, and the two colors can be used together to indicate the high and low voltage areas of the electrical equipment.
4.The surface of the insulated rubber mat should be flat, without wrinkles,bubbles,cracks,etc.defects.
Two.Precautions for laying insulated rubber mat in distribution room
1.Before laying the insulated rubber mat,the surface of the ground should be cleaned to ensure that it is clean and flat.
2.When laying insulation rubber MATS,splice them as required to avoid gaps to ensure insulation performance.
3.The edge of the insulating rubber pad should be tight to the corner and the floor objects such as the bench and the cabinet, and the gap should be sealed with strips.
4.After the insulation rubber pad is laid, use the insulation resistance tester to test the insulation, and keep the test record.
